MANAGEMENT
The Management of HSE24 is characterised by two features in particular: years of know-how in the business and international experience.
Richard Reitzner | CEO
Richard Reitzner has been responsible as a Member of the Board of Management for Purchasing & Planning ever since 2004. In 2006 he also took over the Programming Division. Since June 2007 Richard Reitzner has been the sole Managing Director of Home Shopping Europe GmbH. He has also been with HSE24 right from the start: When HSE24 went on air in 1995 as the first German shopping broadcaster - at the time under its original name H.O.T. - Reitzner was already on board as the Director of Marketing and Communication. Born in Munich, Richard Reitzner moved to Rome in 1999 where, as the General Manager and a Member of the Managing Board, he established HSE24 S.p.A., the first 24-hour shopping station in Italy, going on air in the year 2000 after just 10 months of preparation, reaching breakeven and making profits within a mere three years. Then, after a total of four years, he returned to HSE24 as Chief Merchandise Officer. One of Reitzner's greatest fortes is his many years of experience in television and management: From 1994 - 1995 he was the Senior Manager New Markets & Multimedia of Pro Sieben Television GmbH, following his previous position as a Business Analyst and Consultant at the German-Mexican Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Mexico City. He originally laid the foundation for his successful career in his studies of Business Administration at Munich University.
Ralph Brugger | Finance & HR
Ralph Brugger has been in charge of Finance since February 2004. In his position he is responsible for Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Analysis, and Market
Research. Before being promoted to the position of a Division Manager, Brugger had been the Company's General Department Manager Finance Planning and Analysis
since the year 2000.
Koen Verbrugge | Service & Operations
As Head of Service & Operations Koen Verbrugge has been in charge of call center, logistics, services and support since 2007. Verbrugge started his professional carreer at the Belgian public broadcaster VRT and the cable operator Telenet and was subsequently associated with HSE24 and IAC for several years: The industrial engineer, a graduate of Bruxelles Business School Solvay, acquired his excellent teleshopping expertise as COO und CFO of the Belgian Home Shopping Europe N.V. Working successfully as a self employed consultant for strategic project management since 2003 the Business Engineer Koen Verbrugge was part of the Hamburg Media School founding team and supported HSE24 during the selection process of a new fulfilment service provider as project manager and negotiator.
Norbert Paulus | Broadcast & IT
Norbert Paulus has been in charge of Information Technology and Information Systems since January 2005. Since June 2006 he has been responsible for the Technics and Broadcast Department and since August 2007 for the Programme Department as well. Before joining HSE24 in 2002 Norbert Paulus was working for the ProSiebenSAT1 Media AG IT in serveral leading positions and led the project office for the european development of teleshopping companies at hot networks AG.
Sonja Piller | Merchandising & Planning
Sonja Piller has been in charge of the overall Purchasing & Planning Division since 1 July 2008, after starting out with HSE24 in 2005 first as an External Consultant in Purchasing and, since August 2007, as the Executive Director Hardgoods and Jewellery Purchasing. Ms. Piller started her professional career as an experienced trade expert initially by training as a Retail Merchant with the Karstadt chain of Department Stores, where she subsequently worked in various management positions in Purchasing. In 1995 she became the Purchasing Manager of Liberty Ladies Fashions, before joining QVC Germany, where she last worked as a Member of Management for Merchandising Operations, Brand Development, and Beauty.
